Vegetable Wraps

Green and red peppers
Onion
Tomatoes
Mushrooms
Pitta Bread
Wooden skewers

Slice the onion into quarters, then peel the layers apart.

Slice all the other vegetables into bite size pieces:

Thread the vegetables onto the skewers, taking care not to break them, especially the mushrooms.

Slice the pittas in half, so that they can be stuffed with the vegetables

The vegetables should look as above before you start to barbecue.

Be careful when putting the kebabs on to barbecue, as some of the vegetables can fall apart very easily.

The vegetables should not be too well done, try to preserve the textures by only heating them for about 10 minutes in total.

Once the vegetables are done, take them
off their skewers and pus them into the pittas
with a small spoon. They should be served
with a dressing of some kind, we suggest
mayonnaise or tobasco sauce.
