Flame Grilled Potatoes

Potatoes
Olive oil
Freshly ground black pepper
Mayonnaise

A very simple vegetable only barbecue idea - the potatoes are grilled, oiled with olive oil and pepper sauce, then serve as baked potatoes - in a fraction of the time.

The potatoes should be cut into slices of 5-6mm thick, so that they cook through but don't burn.

Mix the olive oil and pepper in a small bowl, and get a brush to apply it with while barbecuing

Put the potatoes on the grill, and start to
brush the oil on. after 2 and a half minutes,
or when the undersides look as above, turn
and put more oil on. Serve with dips,
mayonnaise,
or just as a side dish.
